J. Murphy Developments was established by Joe Murphy in the UK in 1963. In 1971 J. Murphy Developments moved their operations to Ireland and began building houses in Skerries County Dublin. In 1973 JMD purchased lands just outside Drogheda and began building the Stameen housing estate. This was the beginning of J. Murphy Developments long standing relationship with Drogheda. JMD has continually built houses in Drogheda every year since 1974.

With over fifty years experience in the property development sector, J. Murphy Developments continues to deliver high quality homes and has completed many successful developments in Drogheda including Stameen, Deepforde, Five Oaks, Five Oaks Village, Martello Village and Knightswood.
